Our customer needs to automate the wiring insertion process for a connector block and inspect the quality of the connections.

O b j e c t i v e :
To define a cost effective solution that would allow our customer to program a motor control system that could move to a number of predefined positions and perform the appropriate insertion operations.

S o l u t i o n :
Applied Motion Product's simple programming language allowed the customer to program all the appropriate positions, control the programmable outputs to actuate the wire insertion mechanism, test the continuity of the connections via the inputs and signal the operator when a problem occurred.
