The
AUTOMATIONWORX I/O system is an industry unique
solution with family compatible wiring, installation
and diagnostics from cabinet mount to machine mount
I/O. This system allows you to mix block and modular
I/O, in IP20 and IP65/67 formats to create an I/O
network optimized to your application needs, while
remaining consistent in installation and operation.
This standardization reduces total installed costs.

Fieldline
Modular I/O:
Phoenix
Contact's Fieldline I/O system includes 4 to 16
channel modules packaged in two form factors. Fieldline
Stand-Alone are IP67 blocks with digital I/O and
integrated network interfaces designed to connect
highly distributed sensors and actuators. Fieldline
Modular IP67 I/O stations are formed by mixing seperate
I/O blocks with a network interface block for high
concentrations of I/O and mixed signal types. Fieldline
Stand-Alone and Fieldline Modular designs share
a common power and network cabling concept making
it easy to combine the two form factors for a lowest
installed cost solution.

AS-Interface:

AS-interface is a simple network especially suitable
for highly distrubuted machine automation. AS-Interface
uses a low-cost electromechanical connection system
designed to connect 4 to 7 point machine mount I/O
modules over a two-wire cable carrying data and
power. Mechaniaclly coded cables ensures the I/O
modules can be quickly installed or removed without
errors. Flexible cabling supports star, line, branch,
and tree topologies with total network distances
up to 300m with repeaters.
